Joost Hulsbosch’s art isn’t tied to one style. He loves to explore, experiment, and refine until each work feels just right. Inspired by everyday moments and emotional undercurrents, he moves fluidly between techniques and textures. His paintings—whether in gouache, acrylic, or oil—create vivid, expressive worlds full of depth and meaning. His award-winning digital artworks, printed on large-format acrylic glass, are rare, striking pieces that leave a lasting impression. Joost’s work has been exhibited and published across Europe and the United States.

the glitch portrait collection / through deliberate silkscreen misprints, chance forms and layered juxtapositions emerge as portraits that appear double-faced, hovering between abstraction and figuration, where the aim is not likeness but an introspective exploration of presence, gathered into a series of around thirty works in mixed media — silkscreen, hand-painted acrylics, and crayon — on archival paper, each measuring 50x70cm (20x28in).
